Age Groups & Prices

At Kindy Dance Time, every class is designed to nurture little hearts, growing minds and wiggly toes! Our exclusive 9-lesson syllabus for each age group has been carefully created by leading professionals in Dance and Early Childhood to support key stages of development in a way that’s age-appropriate, imaginative and FUN! Children can join at any time during the year – even mid-term – and progress beautifully at their own pace.

It’s completely normal for some little ones to take a few weeks to feel confident and settle in. Our experienced teachers understand this tender stage of development and gently guide each child through the process in a nurturing, stress-free way.

Kindy A – 2 to 3.5 years

Our Kindy A classes are where the magic begins! Created specifically for children aged 2–3.5 years, this program gently introduces little ones to the joy of Dance and creative movement – at an age where they’re still learning how to learn.

With a parent or carer joining in each class, children feel secure and supported as they explore movement, music and imagination together. These early experiences lay the perfect foundation for Dance education, helping children develop rhythm, coordination, body awareness and confidence in a nurturing and play-based environment.

Our teachers guide every child with warmth and understanding, knowing that many are stepping into a group setting for the first time. Through repetition, imagination and encouragement, our littlest dancers begin to build the focus, listening skills and confidence that prepare them for future learning – in Dance and beyond.

Class length: Approximately 30 minutes
Fee: $175 per term (includes enrolment, insurance & GST)

Class locations and details

Kindy B – 3.5 to 5 years

Our Kindy B program is where imagination blossoms and confidence shines! Carefully designed for preschoolers aged 3.5 – 5 years, this level builds on the foundations from Kindy A while introducing new creative concepts and opportunities for independent learning.

At this magical stage of development, children’s imaginations are expanding rapidly – along with their ability to express themselves through movement and dance. Our classes channel this energy into beautifully structured lessons that foster creativity, rhythm, coordination and spatial awareness, all while aligning with the Early Years Learning Framework.

Parents and carers now take a gentle step back as children begin to dance independently, explore stories through movement, and express their ideas with growing confidence and joy. In our Kindy B classes, parents are always welcome to stay in our studios and watch.

Class length: Approximately 40 minutes
Fee: $195 per term (includes enrolment, insurance & GST)
